So, here's the scoop on the upcoming episode of Lost on February 28th from TV Guide. A nice little article about Desmond/Henry Ian Cusick.
Directly from TV Guide for next week.
Although he's Lost's resident Scottish "brother", Desmond Hume inspires far-from-brotherly thoughts among his fans. Played by Scottish-Peruvian theater actor Henry Ian Cusick, Desmond or "Des", as girlfriend Penny and drooling fans call him, has been kicking around the Island for some time. He first appeared as the hatch's scruffy sole inhabitant in the Season 2 opener, and the hands behind the first scene's mysterious omelet. (You have to love a man who can cook in the hatch!)
Aside from his culinary skills and sultry accent - beats Sawyer's drawl any day - Des epitomizes romance. He still holds out hope of reuniting with his one true love, Penny, while he saves the lives of women, children and the world's population in his spare time. And he does it with a graciously half-unbuttoned shirt all the while.
We also dig Des for his determination, not to mention his neat ties back to philosopher David Hume, known for his theories on moral responsibility and perseverance. In Season 3, we enjoyed seeing Des in a new - and nude - way when he reappeared in the jungle with the gifts of clairvoyant visions and time-travel abilities - which we're thinking may be on display again tonight (ABC, 9/8c) when he experiences some unusual side effects on the way to the freighter. And, considering lost love Penny (Sonya Walger) is listed in the credits, this episode's sure to entice - in any dimension. ~ TV Guide
So, it looks like we know that we'll learn something about Des on February 28th that might possibly involve time travel. Hmm, curious...Unfortunately, this is all the Lost info we get in next week's TV Guide.
