Lost is just getting better every episode... CANT WAIT! and yeh wonder why he wants the submarine, thats even if it is even located at the island still??? Does anyone think Jack has a master plan or is he considering joining the others ?

I think he has a master plan indeed, but he won't let anyone in on it to protect them, until the time comes, Kate included. Jack has consistenly resisted the others, it makes no sense that he would join them now, even if he does like Juliette (or maybe Juliete is part of the plan as well).
