WOW!  Have any of you heard the Domino's commercial where the delivery guy is greeted at the door by this girl who tells him she learned how to beat box during the thirty minutes waiting for her pizza? After she throws down a sick beat the delivery guy can only say, "You just...  you just blew my mind...."  Well, that's how I feel right now after watching tonight's episode.  I even thought about just letting this one marinate a little before recapping.  Honestly, nothing can do this one justice.  It was absolutely amazing.  We thought "Flashes Before Your Eyes" was trippy.  "The Constant" makes that look like child's play.

Whatever the hell keeps the island invisible really does a number on some people.  Specially people who have been exposed to huge amounts of radiation or electromagnetic fields.  Ol' Des thought the time traveling stuff was wacky when it started and got used to it after a while but nothing could have prepared him for this!

In the middle of this craziness we did get some goodies.  We now know who Minkowski is, for example.  Or was, to be more accurate.  He didn't have a constant to keep his brain from short-circuiting.  And we also know that the time traveling actually happens in the person's head.  They don't physically go into the past or the future.  (Yeah, I know... I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.)

If any of you followed the Find815.com online narrative prior to the season premiere you might have seen some familiar references.  Particularly, Penny's address: 423 Cheyne Walk.  I'm not sure how that ties into the overall scheme of things but there it was.  And no, I'm not overlooking the fact that there's two of "the numbers" in the address.  Just as some of them were part of the settings Des had to give 1996 Daniel per 2004 Daniel's instructions.

Speaking of Daniel, he REALLY knows more than anyone else about what's going on with the Island's effects.  And all that exposure to the radiation has caused him to start doing the time-travel-in-your-head thing Des, Minkowski, and probably many more have experienced.  Oh, and is THIS the sickness?  How does it all relate to women not being able to survive having a kid on the island?  GAH! I'm FRIED!

Next week's episode looks to be more of the same.  You know, the same?  Like watching with your mouth open, heart racing, unable to peel your attention away from the scene until the commercials and then sitting there in disbelief of what you just saw?  THAT!  That's what we're in for next week if the previews are an accurate representation of what happens.
