Yes, you read it right- recap. Sorry folks, but due to this weeks drought on easter eggs, I've decided to treat you all to recap on the episode: its the first i've written, so enjoy! Spoilers for UK and Australia.
Through flashbacks, we're given another glimpse into the complicated lives of Mr and Mrs Kwon. Set just after their marriage, Sun and Jin are seen adjusting to their new lives. However, an old woman throws a spanner in the works. Meeting with Sun, she reveals a few home truths: Jin was born to a prostitute. Fantastic. Just what Sun needed to hear. Anyway, basically, the woman asks for one hundred thousand dollars (dollars, not won, the Korean measurement of money) to keep her trap shut. Sun complies, borrowing the money from her father, in return for Jin working for him privately. I find this a bit odd: Sun comes to hate Jin in the future for the career path she led him down. Jin, however, is appalled to find the money 'hidden' in Sun's purse. Sun lies about its purpose, and Jin gives a heartfelt speech about how he can provide for his family, and does not want to owe Sun's father any more money. On the topic of fathers, Jin contradicts himself on the date of his dad's death, this time claiming he died while Jin was in the army, leading Sun and her suspicions to track him down. Jin's dad reveals the truth to Sun: Jin kept him a secret to prevent Jin from living in shame. Confirming that Jin's mother was a prostitute, Sun meets the older woman once more, realising she is her husbands mother. Giving her the money, she leaves her with a chilling message: stay out of our life, or my family will end yours.
Back on the island, Jack begins asking Sun some personal questions concerning her pregnancy. Suspicious, Sun approaches Kate, who tells her that the Others abduct children for research. Furious, she approached Juliet, who gives her some bad news: if you get pregnant on the island, you die on the island. After being silenced by Juliet in the night, Sun and her trek across the island to the medical station, and through a secret door to run tests. After admitting Sun slept with another man off island, and claiming Jin is infertile, Juliet tells Sun the baby was conceived on the island, and therefore is JIn's. Apparently, men produce five times as much sperm while on the island. However, women who conceive a baby there die. So, a bit of good and bad news there. Back outside, Sun thanks Juliet, who proceeds to go and 'cover up' the fact they'd been in the medical hatch. However, she was actually there to leave a message for Ben, saying 'Kwon' was pregnant, and she'd take samples from Kate soon. After ending the message, she muttered 'I hate you', seemingly at Ben, indicating she may not be as bad as we thought....
On the other side of the island, Desmond, Charlie, Jin and Hurley are struggling to help the parachutist. Turns out she was impaled on a branch while falling, puncturing her lung. While trying to help, Hurley accidentally fires a flare gun, and soon after Mikhail (yes, dead Mikhail) appears through the tree's. After attempting to run, Jin floors him with a kick, and he offers medical help in return for a safe passage away from there. Desmond agrees, and Mikhail soon heals Naomi, saying she'd be fine in a day. Charlie is shocked by this, but Mikhail claims healing happens differently on the island. After mistranslating Naomi's message (Mikhail claims she says 'Thank You', when she actually says 'I'm Not Alone'), Desmond lets Mikhail go, but Jin has to capture him again after he steals a phone Naomi brought to the island. Desmond lets him go again, after taking the phone back, and we see Hurley sitting talking to Naomi. Its then she drops her bomb: after Hurley tells her he and the other survivors reached the island in the crash of Oceanic Flight 815, Naomi claims it is impossible, saying they found the plane, and everybody was dead. Hurley sums this moment up perfectly: 'What??'
For me, this episode was passe. The mystery now surrounding the plane crash is phenomenal, but the episode itself was not so good. I think we needed more Desmond and co. time, and less of the Sun story. Still, next week looks AWESOME. I can't wait!.

Sounds like a great episode! I think if naomi had a punctured lung she would need more in dept medical care. Bit confused on juliet's agenda. One minute shes tight with the others then she 'hates' them? Loved the bomb at the end. Am thinkin split timelines? Nice work with the recap.
