    Emilie De Ravin, aged 25,  plays Claire Littleton, a woman who gave birth on the island, in Lost. Born and raised in Australia, De Ravin was accepted at the Australian Ballet School at only 15.  AFter a year, she quit the course, prefering to pursue and acting career.

    Still very young, De Ravin landed her first acting role in Beastmaster. Soon afterwards, at the age of 18, she chose to take a role in Roswell, as Tess Harding, after moving to Los Angeles. She then took part in a tv movie, Carrie, before taking up the chance of playing Claire in Lost. While not producing Lost, De Ravin has also starred in the remake of horror The Hills Have Eyes, and Brick.

    Until very recently, De Ravin was married to Josh Janowicz. After dating for 4 years and eventually marrying, they split after only 6 months.

    In Lost, De Ravin plays young mother Claire Littleton. It is established Claire was left too look after the baby as a single mother before the crash, and gave birth on the island. She was abducted by The Others, but was rescued and returned to camp by Alex Rousseau before giving birth. Once baby Aaron was born, Charlie helped look after her and the baby. However, after news of him hiding drugs came to light, Claire rejected him for several weeks, before they kissed and became romantically connected.
