Maggie Grace is going to star in a new movie called "Taken" alongside Liam Neeson. More info after the jump...After the shameful remake of "The Fog", a lot of folks were sticking forks in Maggie Grace's movie career. Well, save your cutlery for dinner time because the actress formerly known as Shannon is going to be gracing the silver screen in an even bigger, even better lead role.
This time she is being cast in action film director Luc Besson's "Taken" co-starring Liam Neeson. In the film, Maggie is abducted and taken to a third world country where she is put into slavery. Neeson plays a former spy who is forced to take things in his own hands to save her.
The film is directed by Besson's countryman Pierre Morel, whom he previously teamed with on "The Transporter".
Maggie has had little to say publicly about the part which is currently in pre-production. Taken will be released to the big screen in the summer of 2008.
Grace joins Matthew Fox, Ian Somerhalder, and Harold Perrineau who have all turned their LOST kick-off into big screen success. Harold's "28 Weeks Later", the sequel to Danny Boyle's Zombie epic "28 Days Later", will hit theaters this summer along with Fox's "Vantage Point".
