Erm......Batdaddy!

Hi everyone, I'm Thomas and welcome to my first GoodStorm blog post. To tell you the truth, I'm pretty much learning as I go here. I have setup my storefront for some T-Shirt designs I've put together. So far I've really got no rhyme or reason for the designs. Some of them are related to each other, some not, mostly I just thought they'd look cool, and I'd wear em. I've got a few more in the works that I'll hopefully have up soon. The designs I've setup so far:

Zombie and Vampire Hunter Badges - I've got these up in the spirit of Halloween, which really is my favorite time of year. I love horror and the supernatural. Zombies creep me out.

Punctuation Icons - I don't know, I thought of these awhile back and thought they were neat. Being a designer, I work with a lot of type, and question marks and exclamation points can specifically convey a message or statement, even without any words to go with them.

Flame Icon - OK, I did this one for a fireman I know (I'm sure some of you know him too) who wanted to see something done with fire. And hey, the name of my store is digital_fire, so it would be a crime not to have some flames in there somewhere!

If you don't know me, I'll give you a little back story. I'm a Graphic Designer by trade. I've got a degree and everything, and a few years of professional experience under my belt. I'm based out of Nashville, Tennessee and no, I don't particularly care for country music (or at least not what's labeled as "country music" now). I'm currently trying to branch out and learn a few new things. I'm hoping I can sell some shirts and make a little extra money to help take care of some bills and possibly help me finance a freelance design career. If I'm really lucky I might be able to turn it into a successful facet of my business.

I'm happily married to my wife of six years, Sara. She's helping me out on several designs for shirts the same way she always helps me out on my design work. She is my biggest fan and biggest critic. We've got two beautiful little girls at home, ages 3 (goodness, almost 4) and 1. They're growing up to be little firecrackers like their Mama.

That's about it for now. Please feel free to check out my shirts and buy some if you like. If you know anyone who would be interested in these, pass the link along. Any designs you would like to see, please drop me a line at
