Juliet said she needed to tell Sawyer something importat right before she died. With help from Miles, Juliets last words were, "It worked."
What worked?
Was she talking about a new 2004? Was she talking about she was able to set off the bomb? Was she talking about getting away from Sawyer? Or something else I'm missing?
What if Juliet was "unstuck" in time like Desmond was after he turned the key in the hatch and she was able to go back in time... she would know what was going to happen. She did mention having coffee with someone, going dutch.
What do you think?

Earlier on in the scene she had said to him that it didn't work and was very upset. I think that as she was dying she was able to know about the alternative timeline/parallel universe. Kind of a "crossing over" thing that allowed her to glimpse the other 2004. Maybe she was able to know of her alternative self living there?

Agreed. I think she was talking to someone in the alternate reality about the "going Dutch" thing and was going to tell Sawyer that the nuke worked but she died in the Island reality.
Which begs the question: Does this mean that in order for everyone to "go back to normal" (aka never getting on the Island) that they're all going to have to die on the Island?
/me mind boggled.

i think maybe she didn't "cross over" so much as become fully conscious.
maybe what we're seeing in an circumstance that anyone makes funny dejavu faces is a partial awareness (consciousness) of their experience in the other universe . when jules died, she became fully conscious, her awareness was heightened and she could fully perceive and understand her experiences from both universes simultaneously, as a whole.

Ok, so if she is talking to someone in the alternate universe about going Dutch, who is it. Will we see her meet Sawyer possibly at some point in the other timeline? Will they grab coffee and go dutch?

i don't know how she knows it worked, but i think why it worked is this:
you have the group stuck in 77 on the island. As Miles proved by seeing himself on the island, there are two versions of themselves living. One set on the island and the other is them at a younger age back home. By setting off the bomb in 77, the island is no more and therefore the crash never occurs for the group that have yet to get on the plane.
So now the group that was on the island in 77 still continue on while the group at home never experience the island.
So in a sense, it worked.
I agree. It worked. But not the way Jack hoped it would.

Its a Plot. It's an alien plot to take over the Earth. And Juliet is the leader. The aliens are making us all go mad by watching Lost. And when our brains are all liquified, they will take over the Earth. Their planet is dying and they are going to come here and we will all be slaves.
I lean towards the idea that as Juliet died, she was able to see into an afterlife of some sort, and was able to see that there was now an Oceanic Flight 815 that didn't crash. I would guess that she was talking to the Sawyer on the plane about coffee, the idea of going Dutch seemed to indicate a familiarity with whoever she was talking to.

It worked (according to Miles, not Juliet). ;)
The question is: is Miles playing for Team Widmore or for Team Bram?
BRAM: You're playing for the wrong team!
MILES: Yeah? What team are you on?
BRAM: The one that's gonna win.
