Shack/Church

Here's just a quick little thought I got when perusing the DocArzt message boards. I was reading a little bit about the church and saw a picture.

The picture reminded me of something.

I know we were told that the shack was made by Horace, but that could always be a misdirection.

Or here's another intriguing possibility...

what if Jacob needs help moving his residence. Maybe he's been trapped in that shack and that weird powder around the shack. What better place to move him then Eko's unfinished church... a church open to the surrounding island and sky around it. A place that is decidedly unprison like.

Also let's remember... this is where Locke made his sweat lodge... perhaps that location has some mystical properties attached to it.

Just an idea. Whatchyall think?

i can't see your pics (likely by fault of my computer, not your post) BUT...

the title alone of this thread made me think: shack--->church---->temple

then i thought, what if jacob's cabin IS eko's church


then i thought it might be useful if i could see the pics to really knwo what the heck you're driving at here.

Well you got the gist of it exactly your wickedliness. Im not trying to put forward any specific theory. But i think itd be worthwhile trying to figure out what possible relationship Eko's church might have to other Island "churches"

The church has a hip roof and the cabin has a span roof. The porchs doesn't match either.

They are two different buildings to me.

More than likely that is true. But what about other possible connections between the two locations. The church seemed very special for awhile, but it has drifted off but they continue to remind us that it is there. I think its gonna come back in a big way.

So what about the idea of needing to transfer Jacob to this new location. Maybe Jacob's shack gets blown up and he needs a new crib? ideas?
