Square in the chest. He said the whole set was just absolutely grim. I hope this is not true, but I have been hearing Matt does want to leave.

TV shows are notorious for killing off characters when they go into a ratings slump... Maybe they think the show isn't going where they want it to, but if they kill off Jack, it will go back on track. People might be angry, but who wouldn't want to see where it goes if Jack is gone?

some stuff you cant control tho, like how they killed eko was because he wanted to go into something else, there is onyl so much matthew fox would take right, if he wants to go into a movie role or somehting, then it sucks that we cant stop him and the producers ahve to make it work no matter what :( jack dying would bite the ratings a little but i think that people would want to know what happens after, as someone pointed out i think, so the ratings wont die that badly

I'd hate to see Jack die, but it wouldn't take my mind out of Lost, my favourite character has already been killed (RIP Mr. Eko), but many people would definitely stop watching, maybe the producers should have killed him in the pilot:p .

I'm seeing him getting shot and going on a coma and start appearing on other characters' flashbacks, like discovering that Jack has been a part of their lives at some point, treating their twisted ankle while he was an intern or something.

Well, really funny would be for Jack to be shot and them performing surgery on himself to save his life, a bit like the Doc in "Master and Commander". With Hurleyholding a mirror for him to see and them puking all over Paulo (take that you minor supporting character):D .

losty... your opinion is very valid.

One thing that we should keep in mind though is that the actor can, at any time, sign a new contract to let him out after this season, or the two sides can agree on a way to "buy out" his contract so he can leave and he'd receive a settlement. It won't be the first time such has happened... contracts are not the most reliable way to confirm or deny spoilers.

Now, that site is usually accurate, but this could be from someone who got their information incorrect, it could be another foiler... or it could be absolutely correct. Only time will tell.

P.S. I think that we should give Mattyrewls the benefit of the doubt, because all other spoilers really have been true so far. Matty, your contributions are appreciated, keep doing what you do.

Good point losty, but I may add that Sawyer comes from a different life than Jack does. Sawyer is use to gunshots while Jack...cries often.

Ya know that's one thing that makes me think that he may not die... there really are a lot of viewers who would revolt (Jaters and the like) and I don't think that TPTB would do such a thing.

Maybe he gets shot, almost dies, but does get healed by the island.
