Awwwww crap. :mad: I was afraid of that. It does confirm what a lot of us thought though about Eko not really speaking to John, but communicating in some other way. It also confirms that the spiritual "torch", Eko's stick, was supernaturally transfered to Locke.

So, I guess that part is cool.:)

Though I think the theory is a bit far... I have said that Eko will die. I mean, think about it.. Jack's not there.. who will provide Medical care to him? Sun was the next person I'd think of, she's still not back with Sayid and Jin.

SAd to see him go. I would have liked to see him throw some others around.

Well, that could be a lot different than dead, which I'm interpreting "demise" to mean. But then,..... hmmmmm.... he could continue appearing in a spiritual form and perhaps only to John in visions to councel or guide.

oh he's dead... we may see him in flashbacks/dream sequences ala Boone/Libby... but he's dead. I don't think he really spoke the words to Locke last week to tell you the truth. I think it was Locke tapping into "the island" again, or the island speaking through Eko.

damn, eko is one of my favorite characters, this is going to affect Locke alot.

but i suppose the closest thing 2 a doctor on the island other than jack would be bernard

Who knows... maybe Nikki will turn out to be a Nurse Practitioner and save Eko. After all we didn't know Juliet was a fertility specialist until last night. There might be all kinds of medical personnel running around on the island.

well... her'es something else...
after last night's promo, we see he gets bandaged up.. b/c he goes to the pearl with Locke. But we also see him get hit with something but I'm not sure if it's island, or flashback (b/c it's thrown by a black male when you freeze the image).

Promo was very confusing... I'm gonna bevery upset if my sources are wrong... I wanna believe...

Look at the promo, Hes looking in his brothers plane like he had never seen it before.
