I did like the quiz, and I only got one wrong, the one about how much Hurley is worth. All I can remember is that he's loaded. I couldn't remember the exact amount.
This part made me mad...
"When answers are finally revealed on “Lost,” they’re usually complete let-downs, in part because they make little sense, and in part because all those revelations usually do is give way to more mysteries. They serve little purpose but to fuel online chatter."
He's basically making fun of us!
If he wants a show that ties up all the loose ends in a pretty bow at the end of each episode then he needs to watch Gilmore Girls or something like that which involves no imagination or thought.

i don't think he wants it to lack imagination. i think his argument is that the writers lack imagination by simplifying the mysteries and cloaking the simple solution with more mysteries. when the new mysteries spark debate and the forums are flooded, the oversimplification of the old mysteries is overshadowed by the new wonders.
regardless, i disagree with his refusal to continue watching. i think his argument loses sight of the big picture when it focuses on each mystery microcosmically. i'd rather believe that, in the end, all the loose ends and "simple" solutions will contribute to a greater resolution.

I tend to think that some people, like the writer of the article, will be unhappy with ANY answer given for the mysteries. If it's to elaborate they will complain that is doesn't make sense and is unrealistic. It it's to simple they will complain that the writers are unimaginative and lazy. When I say the article writer lacks imagination it's because he wants the answer now and can't just let his imagination tide him over. Half of what I love about Lost is that I can speculate and imagine what is going on before an answer is spoon feed to me. I get to go on line and chat about it and argue about it. If the writers of the show gave completely logical timely answers to the mysteries of the show then none of us would be here right now.
I also disagree with his refusal to continue watching. You are right, he if focusing way too much on the minutia and loosing sight of the big picture.
