On a scale of one to ten, this episode rocked the chart at a cool 42 (geddit?)! What more can you ask for in an episode? Easter eggs, you ask? Hmmmmm...........that can be done..........
(spoilers below if you haven't seen the episode)
First of all, we got the creepy dust trail near Jacob's pad:
Smokey trail? Yes? No? Opinions?
The mysterious Jacob.....

Whats up with this guy? He was either invisible at points, or going so fast we couldn't see him. Either that, or something Locke saw opened his eyes enough for him to spot him....
Jacob's house, and a few of his home comforts....
Creepy red potion? Scary dog pictures? You heard it here first- Jacob performs voodoo ritual. :p
And finally, we have DHARMA...
Lets hope Locke won't be joining them....
Thats all for this week: remember, if you wish to join BFTI 4, read this article and see what you think! You never know....maybe I'll add a spoiler a little later on......

I thought that the dust trail was maybe gunpowder? Maybe not.

what if the dust we saw was ash from the old volcano. maybe it trailed off and made a stream of lava running by the shack. the teacher did say there was a volcano on the island.

I believe the black powder was keeping Jacob confined.

I think the dust/ dirt path was covering an invisble fence-like device like the thing that kept the "hostiles" and the wildlife at bay when Ben was a child. Also, I got the idea that the substance in the jars was blood, not a potion or candles. Although I agree that the substance was ritualistic in so much as it was something that perhaps Ben is using to control or subdue Jacob. Ben clearly fears Jacob, so he must be powerful and the little demonstation he gave John indicated that he might be somehow linked to the Smoke Monster. Hmm. It seems like each episode raises more questions than it answers, like wtf is Ben doing if he destroyed the Dharma Project? How is he funding all this if he has no connection with the source of the project? Why do a lot of people who work for him have some sort of military background if they were supposed to be the "natives" of the island? Etc...

i read on this interview with cuse that locke and jack battle it off next week. i was like ok so oviously locke somehow survives. (how many people on this island have survived a gunshot so far? seriously! lol)

I think Locke was shot in the spot where his kidney used to be and he will survive to challenge Ben for leadership of the Hostiles. (i don't want to call them Others anymore)

That screenshot of Jacob... have you doctored it in some way? specifically have you superimposed Locke's face onto it?
Cos I don't think you could have gotten those results by image manipulation alone (I tried)... but maybe i'm wrong!

Haha, no worries dude, I thought exactly the same. Nope, i took this from darkufo, who had it sent to him, and in his opinion it was not doctored. Thats all i can say, hope that helps. :)
