First of all, a look at the picture being spread around the net in the storm of interest it has caused:

Yup, thats Mother Time, from Desmonds previous flashback in Flashes Before Your eyes. Seems her and Brother Campbell have history, and the person who made the photo is lacking experience with photoshop......
Next up, the book the episode got its title from:

Ardil 22, Portugese for Catch 22. Ironically, our guys in the arctic at the end of season2 also spoke portugese.....
Here we have the contents of the parachutists bag:

So, we have a satellite phone, a nutri fruit bar and a beef stew instant meal. Will any of these be of significance?
Here, we have, erm......

Yeah.......moving on........
These two screencaps are from Desmonds visions and real time island happenings:

Oh, hey, Charlie's in both......I thought he was shot in the head with an arrow...... Does this suggest Desmond is seeing across multiple timelines? Or am I crazy?
Thats all for this week, any comments, feel free to post, and if I've missed anything, just yell at me and I'll fix it. Big thanks to buddytv, as i used a fair few of their images.
Comments
I've noticed a new tatoo on the inside of Jack's arm in this episode and the last also. Does anyone have any speculations about it? It seems to me he has had it since his stay with the others, and it's significance may come into play later.

Guzi - According to Lostpedia only known since The Man From Tallahassee. What season one episode shows it?

"Ironically". I do not think that word means what you think it means.

i think ironic is a perfectly acceptable word to use here, but if it means that much to you, i can change it to coincidentally.....
