I've said it before and I'll say it again:  Locke-centric episodes never disappoint.  I'm a fanboy and have yet to watch an episode I didn't like at some level but Locke episodes are my favorite.

Maybe it is because Locke is such a central part of the story arc and I feel that his episodes really move things forward.  Maybe Locke is just a great character.  Whatever it is, I'm always left with a feeling of satisfaction after them.  Last night was no different.

As usual, the answers we were given added more questions but after all that time traveling stuff, it was nice to finally have a chance to reset and get a glimpse of what is going on.

Of course, we only know a little.  Locke is THE central figure in what is going with the Island.  Ben and Widmore are headed for a doozy of a confrontation.  And everyone else is coming along for the ride.  But where are the "sides" in this coming battle?  Who's on what team?  Are the teams even remotely interested in the "greater good" or are they basically fighting for their own survival after the end game?

Ben has once again become the super-villain.  For a while, Widmore seemed to be the one with bad intentions and I even began to think Ben was someone who was willing to do some pretty nasty things to accomplish his goals, but the goals may have been... admirable?  Not anymore.  Whatever that dude has planned can't be good for anyone but Ben and whoever he decides not to kill.  That said, we still don't really know if Widmore is any different, but he did have a point when he told Locke that at least he never tried to kill him.

So it may all turn out that both sides are basically "bad" and nothing really "good" will come of whatever happens.  The only constant (heh, get it?) is Locke and he's back on the Island.  Everything can now go back to normal...  whatever that means on that crazy Island.

By the way, someone owes me $10.  I knew there would be at least one noob on the Island, but I didn't know there would be a whole plane-load.  It should be interesting to see how they are incorporated into the story of if they will be killed off in time.

I look forward to getting back to basics now that the Losties are going to be reunited.

See you next week.
