The Oscars are filled with celebrities, fashion, inspirational awards and recognition for a year of achievement.  The S0scars are just like that, but FUN.  Join the action and fake-intrigue at the second annual S0scars ceremonies coming up soon!  The best of the worst Stationzer0 inhabitants will be honored, embarrassed and roasted.  As is tradition, no prisoners, no quarter... just a lot of LOLing.


A close relative, and valued, friend, Thezer0.com, is a website accessible directly from the hottest threads at Stationzer0.  This site features cool "non-Lost" related interests and posts of many S0 members.  See what Stewie (Family Guy) would look like if he were not animated... scary—reminds me of the son of Satan, regrettably.


The Lost Rewind thread is alive and kicking... with the action set to take off on July 7th. Re-watch the entire series, and join in live chat with some of the greatest Lost theorists on the planet.

OGR: Fun With Emails

Not only did we finally recieve our emails from OGR, but I found another interesting tidbit of information.

 

while perusing the source code at the alternate email page, I found a curious message.

What could this mean, I wonder? Well, when I did a simple google search, this came up. Surprise suprise, it's from a comic book previously seen on Lost. What the significance is, I'm still working out. Drop a comment with your thoughts.

Octagon Global Recruiting -- I-ching

  

These images come up at the final spin of the octagon symbol at the end of the commercial video.
The first image is what you see you the naked eye off a poor quality video. In the second, I've painted over the lines for more clarity and less blur. What we appear to have here is a series of symbols. I-ching symbols, to be exact. If one were to research them using trusty old wiki , you find that the symbols stand for mountain-thunder-wind.

I used this site to attempt to interperate the symbols.

The sequence of MOUNTAIN and then THUNDER apparently refers to bestowing nourishment. When mountain is placed directly above thunder, the image formed is similar to that of a mouth. Not only does this apply to tangible nourishment, but also that of spiritualism and knowledge. This, then, could apply to nourishing oneself through scientific knowledge acquired through the Dharma Initiative.

MOUNTAIN and WIND refer to "working on what has been spoiled". The gentle impassiveness of the wind against the rigidity of the mountain create decay, stagnation. This implies that this decay needs to be fixed. Therefore, (and I'm going out on a limb here) these symbols could represent a need to reform the Dharma Initiative from what it has degenerated into. They're recruiting, aren't they? They haven't had a real presence on the island in twelve years. Seems like a good time to reverse that decay.

WIND and THUNDER represent duration. This one's obvious--that the D.I. has been, and in their opinion will be, around for a long time.
