Yet another stellar episode of Day Break (please watch if you haven't been), but again a less than tantalizing LOST moment.  None-the-less, here it is... in all its poorly edited glory:

Here is the first of 12 clips from the second half of LOST season three.  I'm completely, utterly, underwhelmed.  We've seen this before!  CRIPES!  Hopefully the next time it will really be new footage like they promised.

Let's just assume for a moment that "Lost has not yet "jumped the shark" (I'd say it hasn't come close yet, but more frustrated viewers would disagree) so, what will be the moment when it does?  Damon Lindeloff has said that there'll be a moment around the middle of this season that'll either blow you away, or make you think that it has finally jumped... so, what will that moment be?  I'll offer my guess below... but before clicking, you should really try to look at this from Damon's perspective.

He basically said that this one, shocking twist would be the moment that polarizes viewers... either their mind will be blown and start getting "Lost" tattoos, or they will scream in frustration, turn the television off and vow not tow atch anything but "American Idol" from now on.

What could TPTB possibly be planning...?  Let's remember, these are the people who have already had a button that could destroy the world, a suburb-like community in the middle of a deserted island, a monster composed of black smoke that can read minds and an electromagnetic "anamoly" that can crash planes and possibly heal people... yet they weren't concerned about Those things.  No, but this New thing is the one that worries them.

Somehow, this new "twist" has to be even Further out there than anything they have come up with thus far... so, what could it possibly be?  My guess is below.

YES!!  One of the most anticipated events of Lost happened in last nights episode.  No, Jack did not go through the episode without shedding a tear.  Something even better!  Kate and Sawyer FINALLY hooked up.  For real!

I know it wasn't a startling development since they've been building to it the whole season.  They also spoiled it in the previews last week.  But, damn if it didn't live up to expectations.

Take that Criminal 'got no' Minds!  ABC is declaring victory over the CBS yawner, looks like LOST trounced it pretty badly...

Lost” won its time period and ranked as the No. 1 TV program of the night in Adults 18-49 for the 5th straight week (on each of its telecasts this season), defeating second-place CBS’ “Criminal Minds” in the slot by 35% (6.6/16 vs. 4.9/12).  - Source Abcmedianet.com

Yeah, zap2it and a few others are saying it's all wishful thinking on behalf of our boys at ABC, more like all these naysayers that have been trashing LOST for the past five weeks finally got their come-uppance.

OMFG!  I've just realized something.  I've totally figured out the secret of the Island.  I can't believe it!  I know what you're thinking, "Vex, you're nuts!"  That may well be true, but I've got it anyway.

In last night's episode we learned a couple of things.  I'll start with the first.  Smokey can take the shape of anyone.  It appeared to Eko in the form of his brother, Yemi.  This means that Smokey probably appeared to Jack as Christian (Jack's father), was probably Kate's black horse, and more than likely was Boone who took Locke on a mind trip.  Smokey could be anyone.

Now, what other entity comes along with smoke and has magic powers?  Hmmm?  Click below to find out.
